God does NOT change, therefore His Word does NOT change!
“SETTLED” means: “fixed, resolved definitely; placed in a permanent position.”
(Psalms 119:89) says, “For ever, O Lord, THY WORD is SETTLED in heaven.”
In a world that seems to be changing at a rapid pace, I am grateful that the Word of God is not only SETTLED, it REMAINS THE SAME!
The word “SAME” defined means: being one without addition, without change, or discontinuance; identical.
The Word is THE SAME TODAY as it was 1,000 years ago…100 years ago….10 years ago…1 year ago…and it will be the same 10 years from now…100 years from now…1,000 years from now…FOREVER!
It STILL takes being Born Again of water and Spirit, according to (John 3), if you want to see and enter into the Kingdom of God.
It STILL takes REPENTANCE, Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ, and being filled with the Holy Ghost, according to (Acts 2:38), to be Born Again.
Unfortunately, that is where “some” like to stop…but the Word that is SETTLED and remains THE SAME also says that it STILL takes being HOLY and SEPARATED from the world, to be right with God and to make it to Heaven.
Without SUBMISSION, OBEDIENCE and FAITHFULNESS, it is IMPOSSIBLE for one to be HOLY and SEPARATED from the world! (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1 — Hebrews 12:14 — 1 John 2:15)
In a world that seems to be changing at a rapid pace, I am grateful that the Word of God is not only SETTLED…IT REMAINS THE SAME!
